No. Reading the Quran begins with the alphabet and does not require Arabic as a language.
The teacher meets the learner, hears them read if they can, and recommends a course, level and schedule in writing.

Yes. State your preference for a male or female teacher and language. You meet the proposed teacher in the trial and can ask for another.

Most start around 5 or 6; readiness matters more than age and the trial tells us.

Scheduling
Yes. Choose days and times in your time zone; the teacher is matched to them.
Reschedule with 24 hours' notice; pause for holidays or Ramadan.
30 minutes by default; 45 or 60 minutes for adults who prefer it.
Yes, in UK time and all four mainland US time zones. Learners from any other country are welcome too.
