How online Quran class pricing works, and how to compare it
People searching for online Quran classes cost or Quran academy fees usually find one of two things: a headline price that turns out to be for a group class or a trial period, or no price at all and a form to fill in. We try to do better. Plans are monthly. They depend on two things you choose, how many lessons a week and how long each lesson is, and one thing you may need, how many learners. Everything a plan includes is listed. Where a price is not yet published on this page, we send it in writing before you commit to anything, and the trial is free regardless.
What decides the monthly price
Lessons per week. Two, three or five. Two suits adults refining Tajweed and children with a busy week; three is the most common choice for reading progress; five suits Hifz and young beginners who need daily contact. The plan builder above shows the monthly total of lessons for each.
Lesson length. Thirty minutes for young children and beginners, forty-five for most learners, sixty for Hifz, adults and intensive work. Longer lessons are priced proportionally.
Number of learners. Each learner has their own lesson and teacher plan. Families with several learners use the family plan, which combines them on one account and one invoice.
The teacher recommends a rhythm and length in the free trial. You can change either later without changing teacher.
What every plan includes
A dedicated teacher who takes every lesson. A personal learning plan agreed in the trial, with a first milestone written down. A short note after every lesson and a monthly summary. Access to the parent or student dashboard as it is rolled out. Rescheduling with twenty-four hours' notice. Shared on-screen materials, so no books have to be bought. The free trial lesson and the teacher's assessment are separate from any plan and cost nothing.
What is not charged
There is no registration fee, no materials fee, and no charge for the trial. Lessons moved with twenty-four hours' notice are not lost. There is no contract: plans are monthly and can be paused or stopped with notice under the refund and cancellation policy.
Comparing private lessons with group class prices
A group class will nearly always be cheaper per lesson, and it is fair to say so. The comparison that matters is cost per minute of the learner actually reading with correction. In a group of six, a thirty-minute class gives each child about five minutes of reading. In a private lesson the same thirty minutes is twenty-five minutes of reading. On that measure private lessons are usually the better value for anyone whose goal is to read or recite well, and worse value for anyone whose main goal is community, which a group provides and a private lesson does not. Our one-to-one classes page sets out the comparison in full.
Currencies
UK families are billed in pounds sterling; US families in US dollars; families elsewhere, including Canada and Australia, in US dollars, with the card provider converting at its own rate. The currency switch on this page shows plans in either. Payment is monthly by card, taken only after the trial and once you confirm a plan.
Missed lessons, holidays and pauses
Lessons rescheduled with at least twenty-four hours' notice are not lost. Lessons missed without notice count as taken, except in genuine emergencies at the academy's discretion; we are a small academy and we try to be reasonable about a sick child or a power cut. Plans can be paused for holidays, Ramadan, exams or travel with notice, and the teacher stays the same when you return.
Discounts and family pricing
The family plan combines learners under one account and invoice, and pricing for additional learners is confirmed in writing when you book. We do not run countdown offers or "only two places left" promotions; prices are the same whenever you ask.
Getting an exact price
Use the plan builder above to set lessons per week, lesson length and learners, then request the price for that exact plan on WhatsApp, or book the free trial and receive the price after the teacher has recommended a rhythm. Either way the figure is confirmed in writing before you pay anything.
