Surah Ad-Duha سُورَةُ الضُّحَىٰ
Surah Ad-Duha (سُورَةُ الضُّحَىٰ), "The Morning Hours", is chapter 93 of the Quran's 114. It has 11 ayahs, is classified as Makki (revealed in Makkah), and appears in Juz 30 of the standard thirty-part division. بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
وَٱلضُّحَىٰ
93:1By the morning brightness
وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ
93:2And [by] the night when it covers with darkness,
مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ
93:3Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you].
وَلَلْءَاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ
93:4And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life].
وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰٓ
93:5And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied.
أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًۭا فَـَٔاوَىٰ
93:6Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge?
وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلًّۭا فَهَدَىٰ
93:7And He found you lost and guided [you],
وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلًۭا فَأَغْنَىٰ
93:8And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.
فَأَمَّا ٱلْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ
93:9So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him].
وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ
93:10And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him].
وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ
93:11But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it].
