Surah Ash-Sharh سُورَةُ الشَّرۡحِ
Surah Ash-Sharh (سُورَةُ الشَّرۡحِ), "The Consolation", is chapter 94 of the Quran's 114. بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ
94:1Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast?
وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ
94:2And We removed from you your burden
ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ
94:3Which had weighed upon your back
وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ
94:4And raised high for you your repute.
فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
94:5For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.
إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًۭا
94:6Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.
فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَٱنصَبْ
94:7So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship].
وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرْغَب
94:8And to your Lord direct [your] longing.
